Do people actually like grits?!


Question: Do people actually like grits!?
i have lived in florida for 5 yrs and i never have liked them i just wonder why people love them!. I don't like fried green tomatos either!. I know i sound like a yank!. I just don't like that food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grits are bland!.!. tasteless and you either like them or not!.!. personally they are yuk unless you season them up and then they are still gritty!.!.

Man i smother my eggs, bacon, sausage, and everything else on my plate with grits!. put grits on top of a lot of things!. its bomb!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is nothing wrong with not liking grits!. I however do like grits!. I think they taste great with bacon and egss and maybe some shredded cheese!. It tasted good to me, anyways!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I tried them a couple of times in Florida--they were pretty bland and dull!. I put some salsa and other seasonings into them, and it helped, but still!.!.what's the point!?!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like grits because it has more of a different taste and it's not soft/creamy like cream-a-wheat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
