What can I do to prevent bread from spoiling and keep it terrific longer?!

Question: What can I do to prevent bread from spoiling and keep it terrific longer!?
I don't want to let it go to waste by allowing it to mold!. Should I refrigerate it!? Should I put it in plastic!? What can I do to keep my bread fresher longer and when I go to taste it and say, "That's Terrific"Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I leave it in the plastic bag it comes in, and put that into an airtight tupperware or rubbermaid container in the refrigerator!. I don't like frozen bread, because it tastes stale when it thaws out, and is sometimes soggy then to (so it needs to be toasted)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I know we're not going to use a loaf of bread quickly, I will keep it in the fridge!. When ready to make a sandwich, I take out 2 slices at a time and put on a microwavable plate!. Heat on 50% power for about 10 to 15 seconds!. Or just toast it!. Great toasted for a pb&j!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I keep mine in a plastic breadbox container, that has a tight fitting lid!. Or wrap up half of the loaf in ziploc freezer bag and freeze until your ready for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They have green plastic bags for bread just like they advertise for fruits and vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I freeze my bread half a loaf at the time !.The rest goes in refrigerate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
