There are some healthy options and others that shouldn't be considered at all if on a diet etc!.

-Avoid mayo
-Choose whole-grain breads
-Avoid white/Cheesy breads
-the Cookie on the side only provides unnecessary kilojoules
-Do you really need a foot long!?
-Pack the roll with salad, not extra meatballs, marinades, etc
-Avoid cheese
-If you want a drink on the side, have something sugar-free, or better yet; water!.
-Don't make subway part of your daily diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, they're a lot better than most other fast food places!. But it really depends on what you put on your sub, if you load it up with mayo, oil, and ham, then it's not as healthy as you think it might be!. And I don't know how they get away with saying the things that they do!. They must have a huge disclamer!! The bread alone will violate most diet plans, also, I really love them, but the preparation area is kinda gross!.

its healthy if you eat it in moderations!.
meaning dont eat it EVERYDAY!.
and you can make it healthier with light mayo, and less meat & maybe more veggies!.
also, maybe get apples on the side instead of chips!.

No more and no less than any other sandwich made the same way!. When I was in high school, I'd go to an Italian grocery and get a subway-type sandwich for lunch!. But the flavor was far superior to what you get at Subway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't get cheese, oils, or mayonnaise on your sandwich!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
