Answers:
Pomace is the solid left behind when you remove juice from a vegetable/fruit!. Often there is still significant amounts of juice left behind that you can extract from the Pumace!. If you then extract juice or oil from it you have pumace oil or pumace juice!. In most cases they are labeled the same because there is only minor differences in the oil/juice so you will never know!.

The second fellow has it surrounded, I ama former chef and toured a Olive Oil production plant in France, it is as he said the reminance of the Olive oil process, they take that mash and introduce a neutral oil, in Europe, soya, safflower or groundnut oil and agitate the mix as it settle the oils combine and it is syphoned off and the remaining mash is sold to farmer for livestock, like pigs and cattle, it is rich in iron and nutrients, I have had real kobe beef in Japan and they feed the cattle sake mash, give it gin massages and rub downs before they end up on the dinner table!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I recently asked my local store about pomace!. They told me Pomace is good for cooking, and it is!. Ordinary olive oil tends to burn at a lower Temperature!. Pomace is also cheaper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
