This is an old comedy bit!. But there is a reason!. Food grade lemons cost more (and are more difficult to maintain consistent quality and taste) than artificial flavor!. Consistently and quality is actually not very important for dish washing liquid!.

Besides, there's very little actual juice in dish washing liquid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't know but I think they switched the dish soap for the lemon juice when they made my lunch!. Yuck I was force to eat a MacD's!Www@FoodAQ@Com
