I had chickens when I lived in the country!. Couldn't tell a difference between the brown eggs and the white eggs!. But the fresh free-range eggs were superior to store-bought eggs in both flavor and color!. The yolks were bright orange, indicating a high level of beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor) and when I used the yolks to make cream pies, they were so bright I didn't need to use food colorings like the recipe suggested!. I have French tarragon growing in my herb garden!. When you pick it fresh and taste it, it has a mild anise flavor, and it is slightly numbing to the tongue!. Dried tarragon is milder, I use it to make chicken soups!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I definitely can, i grew up on farm fresh eggs, both brown and white!.
And farm fresh brown tastes even better than farm fresh white!. Its sad what you have to go thru to get them nowadays!. Processed white eggs don't have any flavor to me, so i buy the cage free Brown eggs!. They're not as good as farm fresh Brown, but they're definitely better than white!.

Tarragon doesn't taste like anything else!. It's got a unique flavor, so you'll have to pick some up and taste it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes brown eggs are fresher than white!. The brown ones are from local farms, whereas the white are from who knows where!. Personally i don't like tarrrogon!. not sure what it is used for, sorry d, can't help you there!. take care:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

part one yes -- and if it has a little white spot in the center of the yolk you know there is a rooster in the hen house -- as for the second part - i have never hear of it!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some people say that they are more flavorful!. Farm fresh brown eggs make very pretty yellow cakes due to the darker yolks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You answered the same way I would have!. They are much thicker from the farm!. The taste, well!? I couldnt say!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Brown eggs are ever so much better for baking!. I don't use tarragon enough to even remember what it tastes like!. Sorry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
