Any dark green leafy vegetables, peas and red meat!. Liver is a good source too, but not recommended whilst pregnant as its also high in vitamin A which can be bad for pregnant ladies and their babies!. Increase your vitamin C intake too if you can (fruit juices, especially orange) as this aids your body's ability to take iron from the foods you eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fresh dark green vegetables (broccoli, asparagus and spinach) are a good sources of iron!. Beef and lamb are also great sources of iron!. There is a history of anemia in my family and the way they have helped with that is make a lamb or beef broth and drink that just because you don't want to eat an excess of red meat!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

any dark and leafy vegetables like broccoli, kale, spinach and even peas!. Raisins are good too!.

Dont eat liver when pregnant!!! its a big no no!! and make sure that you dont eat too much red meat!.!.!. and any meat you do eat is well cooked!!!. i know all these rules :-(

take your iron tablets with orange juice as the juice helps you to absorb the iron!. Dont take iron tablets with tea, coffee, milk or cafinated ddrinks as they can stop the body getting all the iron from the tablet!.

Its also a good idea to eat fruit with vitamin c!.!. oranges apples etc!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dried Apricots, spinach, watercress and other dark green leafy vegeatables are, in my opinion, tatstier ways of getting iron, baked beans are also a great source!.
