I am a delivery driver I work from 9am-7pm!.
I need some easy healthy foods that I can eat!. I am trying to maintain my weight so I really need something good and healthy!.
I want to take apple slices but how do I keep them from turning brown!?

Lemon or citric juice will help keep them from turning brown, but they'll get mushy and taste like lemon!. You can buy a sprinkle shaker bottle of Fruit Fresh on the spice aisle (or by the canning supplies) and put apple or pear slices into that (mixed with water); put in baggies and take with you!. Take baggies of cucumber slices, carrots & celery to snack on !.!.!. also dry-roasted nuts & dried fruit !.!.!. string cheeseWww@FoodAQ@Com
You have a couple of options for your apple slices!. #1 do not slice the apple until you are ready to eat it!. #2 lemon juice helps to stop the sliced apples from turning brown!.
Other healthy snacks would be almonds for protein!. Yogurt in a lunch box with an ice pack for your dairy!. There are healthy granola bars that are low in fats that are yummy!. Cooked boneless chicken breast!. Grapes!.
I think your best bet is a new style lunch box that is insulated like a cooler with some frozen ice packs!. This is what I do for my kids!. When they get home from school, the ice pack is still frozen!. That way you are able to take salads, fruits, chicken etc!.
