How long will fruit puree keep if kept in the refrigerator?!
I wanted to make the puree ahead of time and during the week pour some in a cup and add milk or juice and shake!. I know, not as good as using a blender, but everyone else is still asleep when I leave for work and I really dont think they would appreciate the blender whirling at 6am!. If I make my puree on the weekends, how long will it stay fresh in the refrigerator!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would reccommend during the weekend to put it in portioned containers and then in the freezer!. then pull one and put into the fridge the night before!. that way its defrosted and ready to go, without possibly wasting the rest!
If you dont like that idea, puree usually will last about 4 days in the fridge!. You can tell when its bad when it has fermented (bubbles on side of containter and slight "bite or tang" when tasted)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You will lose a lot of the nutritional benefits as it gets older!.
I would use the blender and drink it fresh!. It will be better for you!

I'm sure you'll be fine if you make it on Sunday night and use it up till Friday!. Just keep it seeled in the fridge and it'll be perfect through the week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
