How can Peperami's contain 138% pork?!

Question: How can Peperami's contain 138% pork!?
I was checking the ingredients on my peperami when I noticed it said they contain 138% pork!. This isn't just a misprint - it says it on all of them!.

How is this possible!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
From their website!.!.!.

"It is made with 13!.8g of pork for every 10g of sausage- this is because the pork loses some weight from moisture loss during the natural drying process used to make classic salami and other classic dried meats!. "

Basically they start with more than is needed for each portion so that once it's dried out it will contain the right amount!.

It should say "made with" not "contains" 138% pork to be accurate though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they also spelled pepperoni as "peperami" on the label, they obviously have alot of misprints on thereWww@FoodAQ@Com

It goes by SERVINGS!. Not overall , or it's converted from % of daily recommendation to % of whatever!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not a misprint, it's a typo!. Must be 38%!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

very good question!.!.!.can't wait to see answers!. How can "anything" be 138%!?!? As far as I can think percentage only hits 100!.!.!.no!?!? lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
