Do I have to take cigars out of their box if I want to put them in a humidor?!

Question: Do I have to take cigars out of their box if I want to put them in a humidor!?
Often, cigars will come in very nice boxes, for example, Carinos, Conuco, Cruz Real, Perdomo, Partagas!.!.!. you get the idea!.
It would sadden me to just throw away those beautiful boxes!. (which, in some cases are made of wood)
Any ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

My dad had a beautiful humidor that's now sitting in my garage (he passed away) until I can figure out what I'll use it for!. Anyway, he would put some cigar boxes into it and others he would unpackage!. I now have lots of his wonderful wooden or plastic cigar boxes that I use for lots of different things!. Like some are for keeping miscellaneous screws or nails and one particular wooden box is actually my recipe box!. And my brother's small sewing kit is one of our dad's handsome cigar boxes!. Just be creative with their next uses! There's no need to keep the cigars in their box if you're putting them into the humidor!. Sometimes, it's just faster until you really open that box!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep the boxes, you can store jewelry and other things in them and pile them way into a closet corner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
