Question: A Yummy School Lunch!?
What are some yummy but healthy things to put in a childs lunch for school!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
My kids love finding different items in their lunch box so I have tried to be creative!. I offer them anything from PBJ sandwiches, to caesar chicken wraps, chicken salad on wheat rolls made with low fat mayo, warm pasta put in a soup thermos!. I'll include wither corn, green beans, carrot sticks,or cucumber slices for veggies and always a fruit such as a banana, grapes, strawberries, small apple or fruit cut or apple sauce with no added sugar!. For crunch I'll send them with popcorn, pretzels, or whole wheat goldfish which offer some nutritional value!. Sometimes I will include oatmeal cookies or nutrtion bars!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dunkers:
-cheese, crackers, veggie sticks, any dressing

Puzzle sandwich:
This works best with a sandwich that doesn't have a lot of fillings!. Make a sandwich, and then cut it up into irregular shapes, and put it in the container un-assembled!. Let your little one put the puzzle together before eating!.

Alphabet soup in a thermos!.
Favorite breakfast cereal as a dessert!.
Noodles with steamed veggies and their fave dressing!.
Fruit dunkers with pudding or caramel sauce!.
Mini burgers, or mini hotdogs in buns!.
A leftover slice of their favorite pizza!.
A Pita bread, a container of tomato sauce and their favorite pizza toppings so they can assemble their pizza at school!.
Good luck with your lunches!!

Pudding treasures:
Place a few grapes or other friut bits a \t the bottom of a container!. Cover with pudding!.
