With out you providing a photo of your problem every one is guessing

But in the exploded view of the grinder
On the right of the body,, is an auger,, a 4 blade knife or cutter,, a disk with many small holes that the meat is squeezed through
Mine has 36 holes,, as the meat comes out in what "might" be called tubesWww@FoodAQ@Com

When meat is whole it has marbling in it, which I'm sure you've seen!. It is the marbling ground up!. Hence the whole "ground" meat thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What tubes!? The tubes of ground meat!? They're tubes of ground meat!. The meat is ground through holes which makes it looks like a bunch of tubes!. There might be worms in there, but it's unlikely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meat is ground, then extruded through a series of small holes in metal discs!. That's what makes it appear somewhat like worms!. There is no ground meat produced in the U!.S!. that includes worms!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
