What is the best way to store fruit?!
I have bananas, pears, oranges and apples!. Should I store them in tupperware or in open air!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
The bananas should hang on something to prevent them from bruising!. You may want to also keep them away from direct sunlight!.
Pears, Oranges and Apples!.!.!.!.I love them chilled!!!
However, you may clean, dry and place them in a nice bowl on your table for easy access AND pretty display!.
Oranges tend to be juicier if warmed up, but nothing beats a fresh, cool piece of yummy fruit!!
If you notice they are going bad, clean, cut and make into a fruit salad!. Squirt some lemon juice on it to help preserve and store in a Tupperware container!.
I use Fridgesmart by Tupperware for all of my fruits and veggies!. It helps extend the life of them!.
Be sure to read the side of the container to know which way to ventilate your produce!.
My fruit has lasted a week longer and my veggies more than two weeks!.
I hope that helps!!!
Enjoy your yummy fruit!!!!

We store them on the table!. We keep the various fruits separate (not touching the other kind) If the bananas begin to show brown spots, put it in a paper bag and then in the refrigerator!. The peel will continue to brown but the meat will be beautiful (not over ripe)!.
The only kind I might refrigerate are oranges because I prefer them cold sometimes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All are best stored open air!. Buy just enough that you can consume in 2 to 3 days!. You can extend bananas or pears out a few more days if you buy a few green along with some that are ripe!. Put the green ones in a new brown paper bag and store for a day or two!. They ripen quickly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Bananas and pears should be in open air!.Oranges and apples can be refrigerated in a plastic veggie bag!. You can also put the bananas in a brown paper bag and refrigerate that as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Bananas need air, most bananas last only under a week or so!.
