Have you ever seen a sheep with a long tail?!

Question: Have you ever seen a sheep with a long tail!?
Answers:
Yes, they would all have long tails if the farmers didn't put tight little rubber rings around them when they're born, to make them fall off!. The tails just get messy otherwise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, however most farmers will dag the tails from sheep!. The reason they do this is to prevent wet wool from around the tail and anus attracting blow flies, as they will tend to seek out the area to lay their eggs!. When maggots hatch they feed on the flesh of the sheep, causing pain and stress to the sheep!. Infected sheep will then need to be manually cleaned by the farmer to remove maggots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, we had a dozen or so sheep at our other property (environmentally friendly lawn mowers), anyhow, they had lambs and we never had them docked, so they looked kind of funny with tails as you're used to seeing them without!. Oh and like the first answerer, we not only have seen a black sheep, we have one on the property right now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All sheep are born with long tails!. The tails are removed for hygiene reasons!. Sheep are not the cleanest of animals in their toilet habits!. The tails are removed by atrophy which is brought about by putting a very tight rubber band around the tail leaving about 4 joints!. It is done at birth and is painless although is sound awful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
