WHERE DO THE PEOPLE WHO WANDER THE DESERT GET THEIR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES?!

Question: WHERE DO THE PEOPLE WHO WANDER THE DESERT GET THEIR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES!?
Answers:
A desert is a place of low but NOT non-existent rainfall!. Plants and trees that tolerate the low water environment can sprout and fruit in a very short time, thereby providing a source of food to animals and humans who live in the desert!.

WHile there are places like oases in the desert mostly there will be figs and olive trees and that is the kind of "fruits" that the nomads traditionally lived on!. They surely would not have apple trees or lettuce! Remember, too, that they didn't wander around everyday!. They could irrigate small field and they actually followed the rain and sources of food for their livestock!. And then there were caravans carrying foodstuffs from other places they could trade with!. And today there are even more options!

But I am sure they also ate a good deal of meat!. It could be dried and preserved and when the rain didn't fall and the sheep or camels or whatever couldn't get water, they would begin to slaughter the weaker or older animals!.

Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
