They're more convenient than healthy, usually!. Yeah, they count the calories & weigh the portions, which you could do yourself, and it's already prepared!.!.!.!.The biggest problem usually is the sodium!. They normally have very high levels of sodium, but if you don't have any health issuess with that, like high blood pressure, you should be fine!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't think any pre-packaged food/ ready meals can be considered healthy or good for you at all!. I think the salt can be quite high on those things, and they have flashes across the front stating stuff like "low fat" to detract from the fact that they are really unhealthy in other ways!. The best way to be healthy is to eat sensible food, have fruit (not too much though if dieting - it contains sugars albeit natural), have things like carrot sticks instead of snacks, have porridge for breakfast, drink plenty of water and avoid processed foods eg ready meals, canned veg, eat less processed sugar that includes sweeties that you KNOW have sugar in them and also doing a careful check for foods you buy that have hidden sugar eg breakfast cereals - some of those have more sugar in them than a bar of toffee!
Much better and not taking too much time and effort would be to have a piece of grilled fish or chicken (sprinkle some herbs on for flavour before cooking) on a bed of green salad - personally I don't use processed salad dressing either, a dash of fresh lime juice does wonders on a salad!. This would be yummy, simple to prepare and sooo good for you!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

calories are not the only thing to consider - fat is a big deal - carbs are a big no-no and if the sodium is off the chart then you then you mine as well walk up to a salt lick!. the next time you are in the frozen food isle - look at your watch [or phone as the case may be] and give yourself 3 minutes to read the labels of things you think should eat vs what you want to eat -- unless it's a 33 cent burrito they are all not great for you - high in carbs - ok in the fat dept - high in salt - could do better in protein!. if you are trying to lose weight frozen food isn't going to do it!. but protein snacks are a start [cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, skim milk - not glamorous but the point is to BE glamorous] + then eat reasonably + work out a little more each day!. you'll see !.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You dont need to eat only Lean Cuisine to loose weight!. You can eat as much as calories you can, but you have to burn more than you take in!. So basically you can eat anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They're not bad!. They're easy to make and low in calories and fat, but probably a little high in salt!. It's certainly better for you than fast food and a lot cheaper than Nutri System or Jenny Craig!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They're not good for you because yes they do have low calories BUT they are so unfilling that I end up eating soon after I've had a lean cuisine so in the end I end up getting more calories than If I had just made a real meal for myself!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Although some have few calories, fats, carbs etc, the sodium content is very high and isn't the healthiest!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
i suppose they could be ok for you if you dont eat them all the time!. frozen meals have a lot of salt in them and too much is bad for youWww@FoodAQ@Com
There are too many preservatives in them that are actually unhealthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
