Where do fruit flies come from? Are there eggs in fruit that hatch at a certain peak of ripeness ?!
Answers:
what you seem to be saying has been proven to be false in a famous experiment, which also disproved the theory of spontaneous generation!. It was actually done with house flies as most people believed that house flies would emerge from spoiled meat on their own!. a control piece of meet was put in a hot room but under a glass while the other meat was put out in the open!. The meat in the open had fly larva and flies in mass but the one under the glass had no flies!. This proved that the adult flies landing on the rotting meat deposited fly eggs and thus the larva and flies reproduced!.
in the case of fruit flies, yes some fruit may have fly eggs or larva on them but it would be because it was put there by an adult fruit fly while the fruit was still on the tree!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
