A fruit is anything that develops from a fertilized flower!. Tomato plants have a flower that is pollenized and then develops into a tomato, so a tomato is a fruit!. This also makes any gourd (squashes and cucumbers) and peppers fruits too!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
