Why is there a light in the fridge but not in the freezer? ?!

Question: Why is there a light in the fridge but not in the freezer!? !?
Answers:
Coze the Freezer might FREEZE the light and it may explode lol ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

My side by side has a light!. But my old fridge that was up and down didn't!. I suppose it is because there is a much smaller space and you can see most everything!. In a fridge it would be harder to get enough light from outside to see!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have a light in my upstairs one but not in my downstairs one!. It's just a feature you have to look for when you buy one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Only reason I can think is that you visit the fridge several times a day but the freezer much less frequently Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its so you cant find the ice cream in the middle of the night but can find the celery instead!Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is always a light on in the freezer but it goes out when you lift the lid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is also cold air! LolWww@FoodAQ@Com

it depends on the make of the fridge/freezer!. there are some freezers that have lights in them, others don't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The freezer section can be pulled out into the light,The top part cannot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BECAUSE THE COLD WOULD BREAK THE GLASS BULB!.
ASIDE FROM THAT, THERE ISN'T MUCH ROOM IN MORE FREEZERSWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would think that the extreme cold would crack the glass bulb!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Didn't know there wasn't Jo - Just goes to show how often I look in mine lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
