Unless they dry roast the peanuts before crushing them and adding another oil, it's safe to assume that it does!. Where do you think peanut oil comes from!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would do a little more research before giving up peanut butter!. Non-homogenized (natural) peanut butter does contain oil!. If you let it sit on the shelf without disturbing it for a while, the oil will separate out from the solids!. The oil will be on the top!. Before using the peanut butter, it needs to be stirred together!. Processed peanut butter will contain additives and substances to keep it from separating!. Often processed peanut butter will have a sweetenng agent!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you grind your own peanuts it will separate over time!. The peanut oil will be on the top and you need to mix it back in!. I keep my peanut butter in the refrigerator after I mix it back up so it doesn't separate again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, peanuts contain the oil!.=)

Peanut oil (arachis oil) is an organic oil derived from peanuts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I read the back of my jar, and it wasn't up there!. It has peanuts and corn oil, but no peanut oil!. Of course, peanut oil comes from peanuts, so they might not need to list it!.!.!.it might be!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
