How long is Hershey's chocolate syrup good for unrefrigerated?!
Actually, that and pickles!? Just trying to decide what to keep and what to get rid of after the hurricane left us without power for just over a week!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The brine for the pickle juice is mostly vinegar so they're fine!. Mostly the refrigeration helps to crisp the pickles!. I'd definitely keep the pickles!.
My guess is the chocolate syrup is fine also unless it was in the sun!. I know it's been warm in TX but if it was still in the fridge, it's probably fine!. Like one of the others said, we never used to refrigerate it!
I'd also keep any mustards and jams you had!.
I'm sorry for your losses and hope your services (phone, cable, internet as well as electric) stay on for you now!. My family's 3 different households in Houston are still having intermittent outages as of today!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We used to leave the chocolate syrup in the pantry for months, before we read the label saying to refrigerate! I suspect your Hershey's chocolate syrup is OK!.
Pickels, I'm not sure about!.

i defiinately wouldn't keep the pickles! i don't think you should keep the syrup either!. if it says on the bottle "keep refridgerated" then it is not ment to be out!. so i would toss it if i were you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
we always leave our Hersheys syrup in the pantry, i think it should be good, it shouldn't go bad for a while, if its been open i wouldn't eat it & DO NOT eat the pickles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
