Question: Is it true that most food here in the US is unhealthy to eat, even fruits and veggies because of pesticides!?
Answers:
I've been eating it all my life with no problems!.
It's the food from other countries that we have to worry about, they don't have the strict agriculture laws there!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not true!. I buy in my local supermarket, anything Organic or grown without pesticides!. The fruit and vegetables, taste better and if you then go back and buy "vegetables and fruit" with "conservatives" you will taste the difference!. Yes, those healthy carrots, etc!. cost more but when you cook them, the difference is there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think the people who acquire food borne illness are those who don't take the time to "wash" and "prep" their fruits and vegetables properly!. I've witness people in the grocery store eating popping grapes, cherries, and other fruits without waiting to take them home and wash them properly!. That's pretty gross when you think about it!. Think of how many "dirty hands" handle produce!? Lot's! ( ^ _ ^ )
