When making rice krispie treats, is it ok to use generic brand rice cereal?!


Question: When making rice krispie treats, is it ok to use generic brand rice cereal!?
Or does it have a different taste!? Or does it taste just as if it were the name brand rice krispie cereal!? I know this seems like a weird question but I was curious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use any cereal, even mix them, like add cheerios or corn flakes too it for a different taste!. Generic is a-ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it would taste just the same, weell, unless you are using a special brand, like, Kirkland, but i dont really know if they even have rice cereal!. but, point is that a different brand of cereal will taste just the same!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The taste will probably be exactly the same!. Can I make a suggestion!? Try making the treats with the generic brand of Fruity Pebbles! It's amazing! Then you might want to it with cocoa pebbles!Www@FoodAQ@Com
