I have never eaten a hamburger and I want to ask a question for my school project!. What sort of ham do you put into hamburgers!? What do people eat if they do not eat pigs!? Why do you eat so many pigs when your cowboys make cows all day!? Are there pigboys too!? It is very confusing!. Please answer me!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are made from ground beef!. Ground beef is made by taking beef steak (meat from a cow) and putting it into a grinder so it's cut into to very small pieces!. This is a meat grinder: http://www!.healthbolt!.net/wp-content/upl!.!.!.
As you can see, you place whole pieces of meat into it and it breaks it into smaller pieces!.
Then it is formed into a patty, which is a flat, round shape!. They're cooked one of many ways!. The most common for a hamburger stand would be an industrial grill!. It is a flat, hot surface!.

Then, traditionally, it is placed onto a "hamburger bun" which is a round piece of bread sliced in half!. The patty is placed on the bottom half, sometimes there is cheese ontop of that, then lettuce, tomato, and either one or a combination of ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise!. There are many many variations of condiments (toppings)!. Some places serve them with chopped onions and pickle slices!. Fancier restaurants will have hamburgers available with things like steak sauce on top!. Most often they are served with what we call French Fries (even though they aren't actually French, it's just a name)!. It is more commonly just shortened to the name "Fries"!.
These are fries: http://simplehuman!.typepad!.com/photos/un!.!.!.
They are slices of potato that are fried in oil!. Some "sit down" restaurants (a normal restaurant where you have a waiter, not fast food) will serve them with potato chips instead!.
We do not actually have "cowboys" anymore!. Cows are raised on commercial ranches by ranchers!.
People do eat pigs too, but they are also raised by ranchers!. A rancher is the proper term for someone who commercially raises any sort of animals for meat like this!.

Haha
There is no ham in a hamburger!. It is made up of ground beef!. The better the cut of beef that is gound, the better and less fatty the hamburger!.
The burgers are put onto a kaiser type roll and usually eaten with ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions!. Other add ons would be lettuce, tomato, mayonaise, cheese!.
Cowboy is just a term for a person who works with cattle or on a ranch!. He usually rides a horse and wears a cowboy hat and may be into the sport of bull riding or pig roping!.
There are no pigboys!.
It is kind of confusing that hamburgers are not made from ham (pig)!. They are made from beef (cows)!.
This question gave me a good chuckle!.
No, silly, 'ground' means that the meat is ground up and not left in filet type pieces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
