Does chips and cheese stop a hangover?!

Question: Does chips and cheese stop a hangover!?
I always suffered very bad hangovers (being sick all day the next day mainly) but I have found if I have a portion of chips and cheese after a night out, that I wake up fine! I have tested this theory by not having the chips and cheese, and lo and behold I was sick the next day!

Now others are catching on and I've heard a few people mention the same thing!. Anyone on here find chips and cheese helps, or any other foods which stop an hangover!?
