Are hotdogs already cooked when you buy them?!

Question: Are hotdogs already cooked when you buy them!?
this is probably a stupid question but I am a vegan and I told someone I would make lunch for themWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes they are cooked by the manufacturer!. You just want to heat them up and one of the best (and easiest) ways to do that is good ol' boiling water!. Toss the franks into the boiling water and when they begin to float to the top they're done, ready to smother in what ever toppings you wanna try!.
Now if you're a Vegan I bet you've got the makings for a really good Chicago style dog!. Top it with Yellow mustard, Sweet Relish, Onions, Dill Pickle Spear, Tomato Slices, A Hot Pepper and A dash of Celery Salt and you've got a work of art!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah, they're already cooked!. They just won't taste as good!. It'll taste more like bologna than a hot dog!. They're not something you have to worry about cooking all the way or anything!. A good way to cook them, if you have to use your microwave, is to wrap them in wet paper towels!. It probably takes a minute to a minute and a half for one of them!. They come out a lot better that way!. Good luck with your lunch!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you mean the tinned type!?

I once read the ingrediants on a tin of hotdogs and was horrified to read "contains mechanically reclaimed chicken" whatever the hell that is!.

Sorry if i put you off your tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, but they are better if they are heated up first, boil or grill them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. You either boil them in hot water or put them in the microwave!.
