I need some advice on cleaning the burners on our stove. Help, please?!
I need to know the best way to clean the burners on the stove, not the coil itself, but the little silver bowl part below it!. Before I moved in with my husband, nothing on the stove other than the surface got cleaned, so you can imagine that it was pretty crusted on!. I tried to clean them several times, but the largest one and one of the three smaller ones just won't come clean!.
Would the best thing be to just buy new ones and line them with foil!? The didn't seem expensive at Wal-mart!.
also, what the heck is Jiffy Pop!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Honey, just buy new ones, they're cheap!. It's not worth all the hassle!. Jiffy Pop is popcorn made in a convenient package with a foil top that expands and it comes with a handle!. Of course this was before microwaves were big!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Just go to the store and buy new ones by the time you get cleaning products etc it will cost more then just paying for replacements ~ they aren't expensive at all
Jiffy Pop is popcorn in a aluminum container that you pop over the stove it has a metal handle and you shake it back n fourth until the lid portion puffs up and your popcorn is doneWww@FoodAQ@Com

I take mine out in the yard, lay them in the grass and spray them with Easy Off oven cleaner and leave them lying in the sun!. About an hour later, I use the hose to spray off all the gunk!.
Any burned-on spots get a second treatment!.
You cannot use this method with aluminum - only steel!.
