Is the "canned" Ocean's Pink Salmon ready to eat?!
It has skin and bones in it, is it okay to eat!? How do I prepare it!? Do I remove the skin and bones!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
It's ready to eat!. Leave the skin and bones in!. The bones are very soft and easily digestible!. I eat salmon as a sandwich, sprinkled with vinegar!. Yummy!!
You can also make salmon croquettes, which need to be fried!. Or salmon loaf, make like meat loaf and bake until the top is golden!. Or add it to a macaroni salad!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have worked in a salmon cannery, canning pink salmon, and take my word for it, I would NEVER eat it!. I'll just say the quality of the fish in the canned product is not good, but the canning process covers it up nicely!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes it is cooked in the can!. So it is ok to eat!. I wouldn't eat the skin and bones!. I eat it cold but other may have some recipes!.
