Do carrots make a good lunch?!
Well, I'm off to school in 15 minutes, and I'm wondering if a baked turkey sandwhich would be good(Boring) or a pack of carrots!. School lunch is so loaded with calories its literally fat!. And I'm trying to lose weight! 190 pounds!. Thanks for any awnsers!. Oh, and its ONLY carrots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The short answer is that a sandwich is better than just carrots because you need a certain amount of food and that much of just carrots is likely to make your stomach hurt!.
The longer answer is: Way to go trying to get healthier!. You will be pleasantly surprised how you can eat quite a big lunch that is delicious, and get tons of nutrients, feel satisfied!. I know it surprised me how low-cal a big delicious meal can be!. But you are right about school lunch, esp now that they have fast food franchises in school now!.
I got this info from the Slim-fast website!. I always knew they advised a shake for breakfast and lunch, and a "sensible dinner!." But what does that mean!? Well, they have a diagram you should check it!. It blew my mind!.

They suggest 3 meals at 500 calories each and 3 snacks at 200 calories, or at least this was my calculation for my body, lifestyle, and my goals!. This is an amazing amount of food when you use lower calorie items like thin sliced bread and such, not even "diet food" just a little less that you wouldn't miss!.
I know this doesn't answer this morning's question but get yourself familiar with good school lunch options if you want to lose weight or even just to eat better!. If you go with Slim-fast, maybe your lunch option is to use one of their products with a piece of fruit!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

* 2 tablespoons sugar
* mint or thyme, optional
Direction

no deff not !! for a healthy lunch you need veg for your vitimans and fibre it could be a pice of fruit instead you need carbs ,!.!.!.only a little baring in mind to keep you going aand meat / nuts / dairy for protein !.x so jus take a bag of carrots a turkey sandwich and jus some pices of fruit or a yoghert if your worried bout the mess get frube the squeesy pouches with youghert in them !.x nutriton is a healthy weight loss option!.xWww@FoodAQ@Com
of course it is, considering that you are planning to lose weight!. but not the raw, it will be more easier for the body to absorb all the nutrients if its boiled or steamed!.
