The difference and WHY?!


Question: The difference and WHY!?
My blood type diet tells me to avoid potatoes while sweet potatoes are either neutral or high beneficial!.!.

I was wondering!.!.
Arent potatoes and sweet potatoes same!?
Or are they different!?

If they are different can anyone explain why!?

They are nutritionally very different!. Potatoes have a lot of quick starch, some fiber, and some potassium and iron!.

Sweet potatoes, while they do have these things, plus a higher sugar content, also have a much higher vitamin A content, which gives them their lovely orange color!. They also have vitamin C and vitamin B6, and have a tendency to stabilize the blood sugar of diabetics!. Really, everyone should be eating more sweet potatoes and less white potatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

(1) sweet potato is sweet while potato isn't sweet!. -obviously-
(2) sweet potato is pink, potato is brown
(3) sweet potato is kinda longish while potato is kinda round
(4) sweet potato can be eaten raw, potato can't!.
(5)sweet potato is actually a root, carbohydrates are stored by the plant!. potato is a stem!.

It's early in the morning for me and I'm too lazy to google this for you!.!.!.!.but I can tell you that there is a difference in how our bodies digest the two!.
When you're on a diet, it is suggested that you eat a sweet potato rather than a regular one because it doesn't spike your sugar!.!.!.it's lower glycemic or something like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

actually sweet potato is a root where carbohydrates are stored by the plant while potato is a stem they are both different but both have one thing in common - rich in carbohydrates, means weight gain
sweet potaote is sweet and potatoes r not, u can eat sweet potatoes raw, potatoes u cannot!.!.!.

Sweet potatoes have a lower GI so they are better for you in that you feel satisfied for longer!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
