Bread days-Who thinks I should eat the whole loaf of bread or save some for my dad?!

Question: Bread days-Who thinks I should eat the whole loaf of bread or save some for my dad!?
I have a loaf of bread sitting next to me and I don't know how long it has been sitting in the kitchen but I checked the best if purchased date on the bread and it has October 8th,2008 on it,I don't want to see the whole loaf of bread go to waste,it still smells fresh,I just ate about 6 slices of it and their are 15 left,my dad doesn't seem to be eating it,I eat up everything anyway,so does anyone think I should eat the 15 more slices of bread their are left because when Wednesday comes it will be no more good and it will have to go into the trash and I hate to see it go into the trash!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The bread will be good for a few days after the expiration date!. However, if you are hungry eat it!. But a whole loaf of bread is a lot of bread!. Eat something with it!. Make a sandwich or something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

leave your dad like 5 pieces maybe so then it wont be so much wasted if he doesn't eat it and then you can have more ha i hope i helpedWww@FoodAQ@Com

Eat it!. Your dad doesn't deserve any of that delicious bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well the bread will still be good even after the best date!.!. just eat it if you don't want it to go to waste!Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, don't eat the whole loaf!. The date may be a "sell-by" date, not an "expiration" date!. Even so, generic store-bought brands are usually loaded with preseratives which will make them last longer than the date printed on them!. also, do you store your bread on the counter or on the fridge!? It will obviously last longer in the fridge!.

As long as it doesn't have any visible mold or smell bad, I say keep it around!. If you're really worried about it going bad, just leave the individual slices on a rack on your counter overnight so it dries out!. You can make croutons or use the stale bread for french toast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
