My espressos aren't as creamy as the coffee shops, am I doing something wrong?!
I was just wondering if anyone knows why something like this would happen!. Mine are only a little bit thicker than coffee and that is only because of the crème!. I didn't know if its just the difference in espresso machines or the beans or if it had anything to do with how much pressure I put on the puck!.

What do you mean by creamy!?
Espresso is not creamy! You are not supposed to make it with cream!
If you mean the foam on top just after it is brewed!?!?!.!.!.!.!. It your beans are fresh, they should feel kinda greasy! Only grind them just before you use them! the more bubbly foam on top of your espresso, the more fresh the bean!
Every coffee maker IS different! Dont expect to get Coffee Shop quality unless you buy one of their restaurant quality machines! these can cost 2,000$ to 3,000$

the coffee shops usually have very expensive machines that can cost thousands of dollars!. The difference between the home versions is keeping the temperature and pressure consistent!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

check the grind of your beans, they may be too fine or too course, trial and error will help you figure it out!. Coffee beans should be fresh, keep them in a sealed bag and out of light!. They should be kind of greasy and slightly bitter if you eat one!.
Make sure your group is clean and dry, wipe it out with a dry cloth!. Fill your group and tap in down on the bench, run your finger over the top to swipe off any excess grind, do not compact any while swiping!. Use your tamper to compact and level out the grind in the group!. use a twisting motion if you like!. Load the group and run a shot!. The coffee coming out should be creamy looking, with a light brown colour!. It should also resembe a rat tail like figure, straight down and kind of twisty!. The coffee in the cup should have a layer on top of creamy brown caramel colour!. The grind in the group should come out in a whole ie not runny or brittle!. if it doesnt, start again and find a grind that does!.
When and if steaming the milk make sure the steamer is running steam not strands of water!. Start with cold milk, tip the jug slightly, steam for a few seconds to create bubbles and then bring the spout just below the top of the milk so while its steaming it sucks the big bubbles down to make finer bubbles, the contents of the jug should swirl, tip it slightly so it does swirl!. When heated turn off the steam and swirl the jug to make sure there is an even mix of the milk and crema!. when pouring tip the coffee cup slightly on the side and pour down the side so it levels out slightly and lifts the creamy brown colour, you can then pour in the middle and create a shape as you get closer to the top!.
if you folow that you should get the perfect cup of coffee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
