Tomatoes....Fruit or Veggy?!


Question: Tomatoes!.!.!.!.Fruit or Veggy!?
Answers:
It's a fruit!.
But as Andy Rooney ( from 60 minutes said),
"I don't care what people say about seeds, a tomato is a vegetable"!

I know!.
And cucumbers are considered fruits also (and everything else with seeds)!.
Crazy, but thats how they seperate the 2 classes!.

Now I am completely confused!. I think we all want to acquaint fruit with sugary or sweetness like a grape or apple!. It's possible that anything or everything could be a fruit!. I think this is one of those things we are supposed to accept as fact like Rosie O'Donnell is funny!. I will just let people decide on their own!. I want to keep calling it a vegetable the rest of my life and I also want to keep believing that Rosie is not even a little bit funny!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because it comes from a flower has meat on the out side and seeds inside
any plant that produces seeds surrounded by a flesh matter from the flower is considered to be a fruiting plant hence the matter is called fruit so check it out that includes avocado, cucumber, zucchini, egg plant, tomato, apples, oranges, bananas, pears, watermelon, pumpkin etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fruit!. It has seeds, which defines what a fruit is!. The fruit of a plant is analogous to the ovary of an animal!. Technically this makes a pumpkin fruit too!Www@FoodAQ@Com
