We used to this all the time!. The easiest way is to plan out what you are going to have for meals the upcoming week!. Then check the pantry, freezer and fridge!. Make a good list of the things you need to make it through the week!. You will see a definite decrease in your grocery bill because you won't be making up the list as you go!. AND, you will know you have everything you need for the week including desserts and snacks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do it a lot!. I just plan my meals prior to going to the grocery store so that I only have to shop once!. When I don't plan ahead I always spend too much and I almost always end up going back to the store for something!. When I run out of something I add it to my shopping list so that I don't forget it when I'm at the store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I Make a dinner menu for the week!. Then i go through my kitchen to find out what we have already and what we need to buy!. I then make the grocery list!. Leave the kids at home and off to the store I go!. I buy a lot of can goods & foods I can freeze, like milk, cheese bread, tortillas etc !. you can freeze just about anything!.Believe me you save time and money!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used to shop once a month!. I now go once a week!.

When I did once a month shopping, I would buy everything and either freeze the meats or start doing OAMC!. I'd still have to shop once a week to get milk as the kids would not drink reconstituted dry milk!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
