How do you use the side attachment on an espresso machine?!
Do you place the milk in the espresso machine or in a cup and hold it up to the attachment!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
The attachment is a steam maker, used to froth milk that will be added to your espresso!. It is filled with water!. If there is a separate filling spout, fill there!. If there's no separate filling spout, it will use water from the espresso maker!.
To froth the milk, put a small, stainless steel pitcher in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes!. Then, when you're ready, fill the pitcher 1/3 full of milk!. Hold the pitcher under the attachment so that the end of the attachment is just below the surface of the milk!. Slowly open the valve to allow steam to flow into the milk!. If you gently work the pitcher up and down while steaming, you'll get a nice, creamy foam to put on top of your espresso!. Don't forget to close the valve when you're done!.
