Eating less but right?!

Question: Eating less but right!?
Im 17, in a pretty strict workout schedule!. Because i've been working out for about 6 months very steadily, I realize that I definitely have to eat well and work out so the 2 are in sync!. I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast with fiber one in it!. For lunch I eat a grilled chicken sandwich (school lunch), and for dinner I try to eat something healthy!. No fast food, no soda ( a lot of water), etc!.

Because im pretty hungry during the day, I usually eat dinner around 5 o clock and when it gets to 8 or 9 I get really hungry!. I usually just drink a bottle of water and im full but my mom says this is bad for my metabolism because if I wait from 5 until 7 the next morning to eat, its not doing me any good!.

Answers:
WOW! I would say your not eating enough especially working out and being 17 ( still growing )!. Eat more during the day maybe two sandwiches, don't starve yourself your still growing!. You have to feed your body You need a snack after school you sure need to eat more and if you eat at 5 pm a snack around 7 o'clock!. My boys both worked out and they were like vacuum cleaners around food but they also ate healthy and ate more often!. You are certainly eating right but you have got to eat more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To make your body work and muscle cells to be built and replaced you need protein!. meat, fish, eggs, beans, milk!.!.!.!.
Cereals just give you energy, carbos and fiber!.
A chicken leg or an egg is slow digested and will give you something to go on until the carbos take over in the morning!.
(an egg or some meat/fish on a piece of bread wouldn't hurt in the morning because you are still growing)
