Answers:
Have you tried unsweetened cocoa powder for your muffins!? It is a great alternative to regular and it gives you the same taste!.

also, Nestle No Sugar Added Hot Chocolate is good and they sell it at most supermarkets!.

There is also Swiss Miss Sugar-Free with Calcium (and splenda)!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

BaD-ga, there are other substitutes for chocolate!. Try none sugar cocoa powder!. Use cinnamon to sweeten it as it is tasty like sugar but good for diabetic people!. There are also sugary substitutes like Xylitol, Excella and Stevia that have no sugar but are sweet!. also consider using spices to give the muffins a zesty flavor!.

You could use hot chocolate but it would taste a little "weak" and not very chocolatey!. I'd use a good quality cocoa powder (substitute a tablespoon of cocoa powder for every 200g of flour)!.

You could add diabetic chocolate drops as well, but I'd do something different to make everyone else want to taste yours!
How about adding some diabetic sweets like marshamallows, fudge crumbs!. If you can eat nutella throw some of that in!.!.!.

Next time I'm in the supermarket I'll look for sugar-free hot chocolate!.!.!. I'm sure tesco, asda, sainsbury and morrisons all have one!
