How to cut frozen meat?!


Question: How to cut frozen meat!?
I have three frozen alligator tail pieces they are all about the size of a large pork roast!. They do have the bone in!. I would like to have them cut into 1 in steaks for easier storage and easier use!. What kind of knife or saw can I use!? I have spoken to a few butchers and they all say they can't do it!. you need a bone saw!. i took a a frozen goose and had the meat department at my local grocery store cut it with their bone saw!. i watched through a window!. so cool!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You will need to find a butcher who will, I know our butcher has a band saw for such things, and bones!.

You may need to go out and buy one of those 'cut anything' saws, with a very fine blade!.

It would need to be thoroughly sterilise!. Don't try chopping with a cleaver, you will only make a mess!. When you get to the bone they will most likely shatter and you will be picking bone fragment out!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
