I just want to put my veggies in liquid form so I can drink it, am I using this wrong or do i have to buy something elseWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The gold standard in whole food extracting would be the Vita Mix, which runs in the hundreds of dollars!. It makes hot and cold soups and homemade peanut butter and grinds grains for flour, etc!.

What you have (and I have) is a juice extractor and it is not really designed to produce juice from dry foods, or creamy fruits like bananas, etc!. I can't make a good OJ without peeling the orange first, as our juicer is not really designed to produce anything edible from it!.

I have run melon through my juicer and froze the pulp to make a sorbet!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds like you're using it properly!.!.!. it's just that broccoli is not that juicy!.!.!. Try it with an apple first!.

However, did you make sure it was put together correctly!? The pulp should shoot off to another containter!.

If you're wanting to drink the whole veggie in slush form!.!.!. you may need a blender instead!.

A juicer/extracter acts like a pulverizer and squeezes out the juice in the pulp!.

A blender will take something and blend into a paste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
