Why do my oreos sometimes float in the milk but other times sink?!

Question: Why do my oreos sometimes float in the milk but other times sink!?
I'm just curious!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
it depends on how much liquid it absorbs!.
like, if you lick/suck on it before putting it in the glass of milk,
it'll sink faster cause it's being weighed down!.
but if you take it right out of the box and drop it in milk, it'll take time to absorb the liquid!.

When you first get you cookie its light and full of air!. Then when you put it in milk the mirco holes fill up with the milk and makes it heavier so then your cookie sinks!.
I know its a bummer ,but oh so good when the milk is gone and you chocolate mush on the bottom!.

The Oreo is like a sponge!. At first, it has a lot of air, but since it is pourous, it will absorb milk, and eventually sink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because some of the oreos are really spy cameras!. spying on your indulgence of oreos and taking notes back to oreo headquartes!. If you see these so called floating oreos, have them destroyed at once!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
