Chocolate fountains, oil?!
hI, I've heard the ones that you can buy to have at home (not the massive party ones) take loads of oil to run and melt the chocolate, is it true!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
It depends on the chocolate you buy!.
You have to melt it and then take a big spoonful, raise it up and let it flow back into the bowl!. If it flows really easily you won't need oil, it if is too thick you need to add oil to make it thinner, otherwise it'll be too thick to move through the machine!.
They also tend to make a huge mess when you put your fruit or marshamallows under the fountain (protect your carpet, wall behind the machine and tablecloth well!!)
