Tuna is still okay even if it is hot!. But being hot does not cut down on the mercury levels!.
Mostly the mercury thing is old news!. And mostly the mercury levels in food are under the harmful level unless you eat a LOAD of it or are pregnant!. (The fetus is way small!)
How about replacing the peanut butter sandwich with a grilled cheese in the morning!. Lots of good protein and filling enough to keep you until lunch!. Down here in the south we like a fried egg sandwich with mayo too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The tuna isn't any more harmful if heated!. One thing you can do is eat light chunk tuna instead of albacore!. Studies show that Albacore tuna has about 4 times the mercury of light chunk tuna because the latter is produced from younger fish!.
I would eat yogurt, fruit, or oatmeal in place of the peanut butter sanwich!. These are all healthy lowfat choices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
