I have pneumonia, what can I eat?!

Question: I have pneumonia, what can I eat!?
I was perfectly happy with my weight before, and now I'm afraid I'm getting too thin!. I have pneumonia, every time I try to eat or drink anything, my chest flares up in so much pain I can't!. I tried orange juice, soft granola bar, and yogurt!. Any advice on what might work for me!? I need calories!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Don't eat sugary junk because it will only screw up your blood sugar and make you feel worse!.

Try eating really small amounts at a regular rate!. What I mean by that is if you try to eat a sizeable portion, and your stomach is full, it may make breathing harder!. So take sips of a smoothie or something, constantly over a long period, intead of trying to finish it all at once!.

I'd recommend getting some protein powder right away!. I use whey protein powder!. If you mix it with water, it won't be too thick or hard to drink!. Don't try to use a straw; that may make your chest pain worse!. Just sip!.

I know it sounds awful, but you're just going to have to make yourself eat something even though it hurts!. Otherwise you will get sicker and sicker and they may have to hospitalize you so you can be put on intravenous fluids!.

Chicken soup!. Not only calories but it will help you get better (doctors admit this now)!. Even if it hurts get it down!. You don't have to go fancy, I've eaten Campbell's chicken noodle when I'm sick for years!. I keep some on hand just in case!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ice cream maybe!. Drink plenty of water!. maybe a lollipop or some hard candy!. an ice pop is good too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

white rice
