i want to make meals and freeze them to make my life easier this winter!. but i dont know a lot about freezing foods!. can i make say a dish with rice, meat and veggies and freeze!. what are foods that you cant freeze or freeze together!. thank you so much for adviceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, rice freezes very well - you can make a batch and then freeze in plastic freezer bags!. Cooked potatoes do not taste good after being frozen!. Spaghetti sauce freezes very well as does chicken and biscuits, chicken pie, tortiere (meat pie), homemade soups, meatballs, stewed beef, spareribs with sauce, pizza, beef stew, fruit pies, cakes, muffins, all types of breads, most fruits also freeze well!.

It is very important to use 'freezer bags' to avoid your foods from being freezer burnt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

meats and vegetables are pretty good to freeze together and rice is fine!. I would use freezer bags to avoid freezer burn if you are going to leave the meals in there more than a month!. Mashed potatoes tend to be really watery after they have been thawed out so I would not recommend freezing those!. Good luck!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should be able to!. maybe you should get a Food Saver!. It's great at saving left overs and helps keep food waste down!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
