Why are people on dialysis forbidden to east salted crisps and only a small amount of protein?!

Question: Why are people on dialysis forbidden to east salted crisps and only a small amount of protein!?
Answers:
I'm no medical expert, but salted crisps (or chips as we call them in the U!.S!.) are certainly not good for your health!. Salt also causes fluid retention, so that could be it!.

As for protein, excess protein taxes your kidneys!. And when you're on dialysis, the last thing you need is something contributing to renal insufficiency!.

Like I said, if you're the patient, you should ask your doctor about this!. If someone you know is a patient, you should ask his/her doctor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salt makes you retain water and you will have edema, which means you will swell up!.now when it comes to Protein that was some thing that was told to people on Dialysis but now some Doctors will let you eat all the protein you want,so I would ask your Doctor again!.Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

what does this have to do with food
that is a medical problem
