What food and drink items do you buy in for christmas!?!

Question: What food and drink items do you buy in for christmas!!?
Decided to put this in Food and Drink rather than Christmas as I thought fellow foodies would be more enthusiastic about luxiry food and drink!.

I buy good quality chocolate (from hotel chocolat), lots of cheese, lots of crackers, lots of pickles, lots of pates, a few bags of crisps and nuts and a yule log!. I also buy lots of champagne (I can't afford a case of 6 all at once so buy two bottles a month from October), liquers and cider!.

Thanks xWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
strangely enough i wrote my christmas food shopping list last night so its very fresh in my mind (i buy a few items a week between now and christmas so i don't have to do a huge christmas food shop)
here goes:
stollen, mince pies, iced gingerbread, chocolate covered fruit, brandy cream, big tin of chocolates, cheeses, crackers, bread rolls, pate, cooked meats, pork pie, sausage rolls, pickles, gammon, prawns, croissants, quiches, pringles, crisps, dips, nuts, beer, wine, bucks fizz, jack-daniels, bacardi (for me) mulled wine!. and anything else that catches my eye!.
i think thats about it and we're not even having a cooked christmas meal at home this year, just a buffet and lots of nibbly food!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I tend to keep my buying somewhat basic because I am invited to different feasts with family and my mate's families (an advantage of being an over-aged "orphaned-single" uni student--everyone thinks one is incapable of feeding self, much less entertaining)!. In spite of it I have a supply of various nibbles and more for those who venture into my cave:

Other than drinks:

A smoked turkey and ham, usually stuffing and other things that can be warmed for drop-ins, cheeses, crackers and biscuits, sweets, and usually a Christmas cake or two!. Nuts, crisps, vege, and dip usually rounds out the larder!.

I like the idea of a fridge load of beer and pork pies, however!. I think I will add those to the list!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sweets and chocolates, cheese selection, biscuits (sweet, dry and luxury), jars of pickles (which will be slung come June!) nuts (which will go sooner) and a few bottles of liqueurs 'just in case'!. Otherwise, apart from the poultry and boiling bacon, I always have everything else in stock and always make my own cake and pastries!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I once spent three days with a mate over Christmas!. He told me not to bring anything as he was fully stocked for the event!.

For three days we lived on a fridge full of pork pies and a barrel of beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
