Answers:
The U!.S!.D stamp might of accidentally socked into the steak while in the freezer or defrosting if you have any concerns call the vendor Www@FoodAQ@Com

some breeders tatoo their livestock instead of branding them!. The purple is just the tatoo ink!. Perfectly harmless, but, i agree, it is unsightly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's the ink from the USDA inspector's stamp!. It's totally edible, but if it bothers you, simply slice it off!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

are you sure it's not the marking of the meat inspector when they grade the meat at the abbotoirsWww@FoodAQ@Com

It is probably the ink from the stamp used for the USDA!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

its the usda stamp!.!.!.!.don't worryWww@FoodAQ@Com
