Egg is very good to add to Ramen!. However, my favorite (and stay with me here) is to boil the noodles in seasoned water, then drain most of the water and add cheese, ranch, and chili sauce to the noodles and mix them up!. The rest of the water helps cook the noodles a little more and mix in the other sauces!. It turns into a spicy flavorful and cheesy noodle dish that's actually quite pleasant!.
It's also fun to go all out and put as many herbs, spices, and kitchen scraps you can think of!. I pity the fools that only make Ramen with its respective seasoning :PWww@FoodAQ@Com

I usually add an egg, breaking it over the ramen in a big mug, and breaking the egg yolk so that the boiling water can cook it fully!.
The most unusual is bacon bits!. Not that unusual, but we made it up ourselves!. We get the big bags of pre-cooked bacon bits by Hormel from costco!. It goes really well with the shrimp flavor!. Mmm, salty!
I'll have to try your peanut Thai version!. I bet shredded carrots would be good with that!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tofu, XO and siracha chili sauce!. Cheese is a new one for me, I'll have to try that!. Have you tried the "instant" ramen that is in the refrigerated section of asian markets!? It doesn't take any longer to make, but the noodles are actually fresh, not dried and they taste waaaay better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
