How do you make a perfect cup of tea?!
Answers:
take a ceramic, glass, or china teapot!. it works better if it is on the small side!. fill it half way with water straight from the kettle (boiling)!. slosh it around until you can feel the heat coming through the side of the pot!. this step will keep it so that the pot doesn't steal heat from the tea!. dump this water and put about a heaping 1 1/2 teaspoons of tea leaves into the pot!. pour water that is slightly cooler than boiling over the tea leaves!. the amount depends on how much you want to drink!. use at least 1 cup (8 oz!.) for the amount of leaves, though!. here are some steeping times:
black teas: 5-7 minutes
green teas: 2-4 minutes
oolong: 3-5
herbal: start with 1 minute and from then on, it depends on your taste!.
All of the steeping times above are completely dependent on your individual taste!. :) If you're using a teabag, it should say how long to steep the tea on the box, or tag!. Sugar, lemon, or cream are up to you, although with a delicate or subtle tea, I wouldn't overwhelm the flavor!. I hope you like your cup of tea!. sorry about this being so long, but i follow all of these instructions every day for my tea and it only takes about 5 minutes!. :D

Great tea is impossible without good water!. Use bottled spring water or filtered tap water for best results!. Put fresh, cold running water in a kettle to boil!. Running water is fully oxygenated and is much better for tea!. Always use fresh water!. The taste of your tea can be adversely affected by using stale, reboiled water since it contains less oxygen!.
The tea's strength and flavor is a careful mixture of the amount of tea in the pot as well as the steeping time!. Use one tea bag per person (or one teaspoon of tea leaves or herbs per person) plus "one for the pot" for strong tea hope this helped peace :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
